LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

Microwaves, a research and teaching tool
M.E.S. Technologies offers a range of laboratory equipment intended for use in studies, research or tests. They are also often used by teachers in practical work (Engineering colleges, University Institutes of Technology, Professional schools...).

Test rig:
A typical assembly includes a 0 – 2000 W variable power microwave generator, an isolator, and/or a directional coupler, an impedance transformer, a set of different applicators (monomode, stereomode, multimode…). They are designed to be connected to instrumentation: measurement of temperature, mass, etc...
Typical applications:
• Drying: powder, coating, paper...
• Polymerisation: coating, resins...
• Fritting: ceramics
• Cooking: food products

Multiple Energy Microwave Chamber:

This microwave chamber is intended for the study and development of industrial processes. It is dimensioned to process samples running from several tens of grams up to a few kilos.

Its modular conception allows microwaves to be combined in the processing chamber with other forms of energy such as hot air or steam. It is designed to be instrumented: measurement of temperature, mass, humidity, etc...

Typical applications:
• Study of cooking food products: meats, fishes, cooked dishes, fruits, vegetables, pastes, biscuit products, dairy products...
• Study of food product pasteurisation
• Melting of fat solids: margarine, chocolate, cosmetic product bases, polymers.
• Tempering or defrosting: IQF products, blocks
